Job purpose:

To develop, implement, and manage the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and initiatives  in alignment with the organization’s values, ESG framework, and strategic pillars. The role ensures  impact community engagement, strong stakeholder relationships, measurable outcomes, and positive  brand visibility.

 

Key responsibilities:

1.  CSR Strategy & Program Implementation 

Support development and execution of the Bank’s CSR strategy aligned to key pillars (e.g., sports,  environment, child nutrition, women empowerment). 

Plan and manage CSR initiatives, partnerships, sponsorship’s, and community programs. Ensure initiatives align with brand positioning and corporate objectives. 

Develop annual CSR calendars and budgets. 

2. Stakeholder & Partnership Management 

Identify and evaluate potential NGO, community, and institutional partners. 

Maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries and partners. 

Coordinate internal stakeholder engagement across branches and departments. Represent the Bank at CSR events and community engagements. 

3. Budget & Financial Oversight 

Prepare and manage CSR budgets. 

Track expenditure and ensure optimal allocation of resources. 

Ensure proper documentation and accountability of funds.

4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting 

Develop KPIs to measure CSR impact (beneficiaries reached, media coverage, brand lift, ESG  metrics). 

Prepare impact reports and summaries. 

Maintain proper documentation, case studies, and success stories. 

Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards. 

5. Brand Visibility & Communications 

Work closely with Marketing & Communications to amplify CSR initiatives. Develop content for social media, website, annual reports, and press releases. Ensure appropriate branding during CSR events. 

Track media coverage and public sentiment. 

6. Employee Engagement & Volunteerism 

Develop staff volunteer programs. 

Coordinate employee participation in CSR initiatives. 

Promote internal awareness of CSR activities.

 

Job Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or related  field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in CSR, sustainability, marketing, or corporate affairs
  • Experience working with NGOs or community-based organizations is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ESG and sustainability frameworks is desirable
  • Strong project management skills

  • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
