Strengthening Environmental Stewardship with Seeds of the Future Initiative

During this year’s World Environment Day, Prime Bank, in partnership with the Seeds of the Future program, launched a community-driven reforestation project at Cheleta Primary School. The initiative commenced with a collaborative planting event where staff and students planted 100 indigenous seedlings.

Project Roadmap:

• Current Status:100 seedlings planted.
• Short-term Goal:Cultivate 2,000 seedlings for replanting by October 2026.
• Long-term Goal:Propagate 5,000 potted seedlings by December 2026.

Strategic Value:

This initiative is designed to develop climate leaders through hands-on education while restoring local biodiversity through indigenous and fruit tree nurseries. The program highlights the bank’s commitment to grassroots sustainability, proving that impactful environmental change begins with local, community-rooted action.
